COMMISSIONS

If you’ve never commissioned art before, the process is simple! Just send over details of what you’d like (if I require any additional information, I’ll ask), request any revisions on the sketches before approving them, and then you’ll receive the invoice for the first half of payment.

After it’s paid, I’ll get started on your final art, keeping you updated on its progress. Once the art is done and a final approval from you, I’ll send over the second invoice and then the files!

The sketch phase is the time to work out exactly how you want your commission to look. You can ask for up to three complete reworks of the sketch. I may send multiple sketches on the first round of sketching, which doesn’t count towards that total. You can, of course, request as many smaller changes as needed to get your art looking just right.

For the first few updates on the final art, I will ask if you need any tweaks or changes as the colors go in. Please note that these should be for any small things that pop up during the rendering process, and if you want any large changes during the final art stage it’ll probably be an extra fee.

You’re welcome to ask for updates at any time! I try my best to send an update any time there’s a significantly noticeable change in the progress.

What information do is needed for a portrait commission?

As much as you can give me! At a minimum, please provide a physical description of them (physique, coloring of hair, skin, eyes, etc., style of clothing, size) and a little bit about their personality so I can capture them best I can! If you have reference images, those work really well, especially if you can note what parts of the reference you’d like the best. If you have any specifics you’d like to see for their pose or environment, that’s also great to know!

If you have other references you use for your character, like moodboards or playlists, you can also send those—anything that you think might help capture the spirit of your character!

Do you draw real people?

Nope, sorry! I’m more on the fantasy side of things. If you have a photos of real people as references for features of your character, though, that’s alright!

I like one of your rendering styles in particular—can I request my art be done the same way?

Of course! Make sure you tell me that, though, I’m not a mind reader and I have a lot of work that is done in different ways!

Can I ask for alternate versions of my character?

No problem! However, if the versions have significant changes between them, I may ask for an extra fee. If you want to make sure you have options with/without a background, just ask—I’ll do that for free!

What can I do with my art once I have it?

Anything you want, so long as you’re not selling it! Or using it in AI things. If you do plan on using your commission for commercial purposes, please let me know so we can discuss pricing and usage.

Do you do commercial commissions?
